What is the expected durability of these houses?
As explained in our Principles, our houses are inspired by the famous colombage style, but our formula is even more protective, as we completely cover the houses with black cork agglomerate, an extraordinarily durable and rot-resistant material. As we all know, the biggest problems responsible for the damage of houses are their structure and deterioration due to moisture. Therefore, the combination of anti-seismic wooden structures and cork coatings provide exceptional protection. We may not be here to see it, but we hope that our houses can last at least as long as their colombage sisters. That is, several centuries!
How long do they take to build?
It depends on whether it is a model from our catalog or a completely new project, as it will mainly depend on the time it takes to design and approve the project by the clients. Next comes the licensing process with the municipality and after that, we begin the entire process of producing the house. We have built houses in 2 weeks and recently built a 140 m2 house in 5 weeks, with two floors, two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen, completely decorated, furnished, and equipped. The preparation and manufacture time of the structure usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. In total, if you choose one of our models, we can anticipate a minimum of 2 to 3 months before you can move into your house, depending on the time it takes to approve the project and the municipal licensing.
What is the price?
It depends on the models and especially on the finishes. The best method is always to define a budget with the client at the outset. It is based on this budget that our technicians will make the final project, adapting the materials to fit it. There are models ranging from 40 thousand euros to hundreds of thousands of euros. One thing is certain: no model has less energy efficiency, regardless of its price. The difference is in the finishes and size, never in the quality of the structural or insulation materials, which are always the same no matter what the model is.

Are they wooden houses?
These are not wooden houses. We use wooden structures, as they have been used for centuries, but the rest of the house is made with many other materials, such as cork, special plasters, natural lime, stone, clay, or gypsum. However, we can also make the exterior walls in wood, if desired.
